2010 Sugar Bowl without Tim Tebow
The Cincinnati Bearcats will play the Florida Gators in the Allstate Sugar Bowl. Tim Tebow has recently stated that the team this year has fallen short of its objectives. He lost the Heisman Trophy race this year, and I can not imagine worrying too much about this game. Sure it's a BCS bowl game, and are against Cincinnati and the undefeated team, Cincinnati, but has much more to demonstrate that the Gators. Yes, Cincinnati has a better record, and higher seed, but they remain the underdogs, because the coaches, fans and media still want to see if the Bearcats can test themselves against an opponent "real." On paper, the Gators should win this game, but that's why games should be played out.
New England Patriots football team had a lot more than a couple of years ago, but the Super Bowl had to be issued, and as a result, the Giants gave it to them. But that was in the wider world, perhaps the largest sports development in the world. This game reminds me of something like Duke or North Carolina, starting the year with high hopes, the solution to the NIT tournament. And even if they win, as Jim Rome says, "Congratulations, you're the 65th best team in college basketball this year." I have said that, although the BCS system is not perfect, I still feel that the end of the season, after all the bowl games have been played, when all the rumors New Years Eve has plummeted, and we all started forget the holiday and focus on the new year, if two or more computers that have not been beaten, they need to keep playing until one team left without a loss. What other sport has an undefeated team that is not crowned the champion, or do not even have the chance to play for the championship.
Cincinnati will no doubt be sacked for the game due to a number of reasons. To keep their perfect season in tact, to show their "coach" who were able to win without him, and then challenge the winner of the Texas winner vs. Alabama Rose Bowl for a game show down, a game without certainly lose, but they know a game is never played. What about Brian Kelley for a minute.
What an idiot that guy is. Of course, all of us in our professions, no doubt, leave our current job for more money, a bigger challenge and all that, but I'm sure Notre Dame would have left the car in the Sugar Bowl if he wanted. He leads his team to a perfect season and the only air-dried. I wonder how you will be able to recruit at Notre Dame? I mean, if it was a school that was actually decent in soccer, in other words, in the last 20 years, I think then the program itself can do the recruiting. But the Notre Dame football has been awful, they need to get out of the independent league and join a real league.
I'm imagining what recruits go to the houses, and the recruits and their parents laughing like that. I'm sure you said these things to his great Bearcat also recruits a few years ago. Again, to call for taking a better job offer, but that's not coaching in the Sugar Bowl only shows that, for me, he did not give a damn about their players. I watch out for more money, better benefits, a large stage, a dream job, a bigger challenge, but what he did for his team just off … I'm predicting a season of 500 next year for the Irish, and I hope it is much worse than that.
If the Bearcats fell behind two digits from the beginning, I think it done. Without anyone in charge of the team, they all start wanting to have the last word and be the hero, and I think it will collapse. If they can go into halftime with a lead or for 7 or 8, I will continue to make a game of it.I hope they can carry it out, if for no other reason than to prove the BCS system is a joke and needs renovation, but I think that although Tebow is not getting to play the big game, still wants to go out with a bang . Besides the Gators have an advantage in training, Urban Meyer against, umm, no.
And a final thought: Although Notre Dame has had a horrible season, why not play in a bowl game, I'm sure someone had invited them. Even if it was the 99 Cent Store Toilet Bowl Game, the thing is, they would have had a month of practices new coach Kelly to see what's going to work with, but not much. Good luck to the Bearcats, I hope the end of this season shows us three undefeated teams, which will display the old BCS.
